Katie Griff is the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Red Cell and its incubations, including Trase. She joins Trase from her position as the founder and CEO of Griff Consulting, a boutique marketing consultancy that develops and implements cross-channel marketing programs for growth focused direct-to-consumer brands.
Katie is an experienced strategic leader with multi-industry experience building some of today’s leading brands, developing business strategy, creating new product lines, sourcing investment opportunities, negotiating deal terms, and recruiting and managing others. She combines extensive brand and content management experience with deep knowledge of digital performance marketing tactics that help businesses scale effectively and with brand integrity. Katie has a proven track record of launching highly successful digital and traditional marketing programs, building brand partnerships, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, and crafting full-funnel marketing campaigns.
Prior to founding Griff Consulting, Katie held leadership positions at HATCH Collection and Madewell / J. Crew Group, and has had various strategy and marketing roles at organizations across market caps including Gilt, Moda Operandi, and Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy. She spent her early career as an analyst and associate on the investment team in the Hedge Fund Group at Blackstone. Katie currently serves on Duke University’s NJ Board of Directors.
Katie has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Duke University. She lives in NJ with her husband and two children.
